Security is a state of mind

"Security is a state of mind," a good friend said to me after I shared that I was fearful of flying.  My job at the time required a lot of flying and every time I would board an airplane, I would worry about what might happen during the flight.  It is funny that I never worried about take off or landing.  This is when most accidents occur no, it was the 2, or 3 hours in between that got me.

Murphy and my other brother Murphy

Just about, everyone has heard of Murphy's Law.  You know "whatever can go wrong, will go wrong, and at the wrong time".   Have you ever asked yourself who is this guy, is he a real person and if so, what happened to make him coin this phrase.  Did he intend for this to be an absolute or was it a one-time thing.

International Brotherhood of Bloggers Unite!

My niece recently asked me what does Blog mean.  I said good question and I really did not know.  So, I did some quick research (Google) and learned that the term Blog comes from the Latin word blogus.  Not really, but it sounds impressive and my high school Latin teacher would be proud of me then again perhaps not.
